I really took a long, hard look at all the things I ‘d been accomplishing compared to the things I needed to fulfill; the lifestyle I had been living and the one I saw I could have if I only had the bravery. I had to change my life. This is just where I took first step:
Self-esteem/self-acceptance – I must acknowledge myself. My self-esteem needed to spring from my ability to love myself first. I looked at the things I wished to encompass about myself and carefully released habits which no longer served me. I do possess the capability to change my life. No concoction, supplement or guru will be able to do the task that is mine to accomplish.
Mind-calming exercise – Calmness. There is virtually nothing that measures up to settling in a tranquil niche (indoors or outdoors) and simply breathing. You really don’t need to have somebody educate you on what to do. Peaceful reflection together with thankfulness have worked miracles for me.
Frequent physical exercise – I take a walk in my neighborhood daily. Every day, I improve what I did the day before. I stretch right before I exercise and drink water afterward.
Journaling – I started journaling late in life. I never liked the concept of keeping a diary as a young person, and now I wish I had. Think of the pencil marks on the door way your mom and dad may have recorded for you while you grew up. A journal is a heartwarming timeline of your life. It is never too late. Start one now.
Giving back – I offer my services wherever I believe I can make an improvement. I love to cook, therefore I make foods for my Church family when they are sick. I also make lunches for the Church kitchen, so they have a supply. What natural talents do you have? How can you demonstrate your love to somebody who really needs it?
There are virtually hundreds of ways to give; large and small. From Wildlife Shelters to Retirement Centers there are people that need you. Human bond, relations and socializing are fundamental needs for everyone.
I wanted to change my life. If you are hopping to make an improvement, maybe these pointers will help you as well.
